Council approves tentative uniform allowance change pending union MOU adjustments

One councilor moved to approve the uniform-policy change to take effect in 2026 contingent on negotiating the new agreement to absorb the Cintas termination fee, with a planned reversion to the proposed schedule in 2027; the motion passed 5–0. Staff will return with updated MOUs and contract terms.
