The board approved an updated Salary and Compensation Procedures document that clarifies technical points and adds licensed mental health practitioners (LMHPs) hired after Aug. 1, 2025 who are grant-funded to the covered classifications. The update also clarifies that employees must work at least 20 hours per week to qualify for long-term disability and life insurance, replacing a previous "0.5 time" description that could be ambiguous in hours.
A presenter explained the changes are largely technical cleanups and calendar/due‑date clarifications for compensation review cycles; "Certified staff receive $11,002.20, and the difference of about $1,200 is because the people in this document received 60% of a single and certified staff received 50%," the presenter said, describing how stipend calculations differ. The document goes into effect immediately following board approval.
