Comal County approved accepting a $1,392 check from Canyon Lake Little League to be deposited into line item 0100002332 to pay for electrical service to a temporary food truck at Hidden Valley Sports Park.
County staff explained the existing concession stand suffered water damage and a donated food trailer was placed on site; "The cost to provide, essentially, an RV plug, I know that area is $1,392 and so they're providing that check to cover those costs," the staff member said. The court approved the donation by motion and moved on to the workshop agenda.
The donation covers the temporary electrical connection only; the county noted a planned new concession stand is budgeted for 2025 as a longer-term project at the park.
