Comal County renews administration of Spring Branch flood damage prevention ordinance

"...they're asking that this be renewed automatically each year unless either the county or the city ask for it to be terminated," a county staff member said while presenting the interlocal agreement. The agreement was presented as already approved by the city and the commissioners authorized the county judge to sign the interlocal agreement.
County staff framed the arrangement as a continuation of prior practice that helps ensure residents seeking floodplain permits within Spring Branch can access permitting and enforcement without reestablishing local enforcement capacity.
