Board ratifies commercial warrant, approves safety plans and other consent items

On the consent agenda the board ratified the commercial warrant covering Jan. 8, 2025 through Feb. 4, 2026; the motion was moved by Trustee Kristine Anderson, seconded by Trustee Felix Eisenhauer and carried with Trustees Anderson, Eisenhauer, Martin and Mejia voting yes and Trustee Eleanor Torres not present for the vote.
The board also voted to approve the 2025–26 School Safety Plans for all school sites. That motion carried with Trustees Kristine Anderson, Felix Eisenhauer and Alesia Martin voting yes and Trustee Emmanuel Mejia voting no; Trustee Torres was not present at the vote. Other consent items approved included minutes from the Jan. 21, 2026 meeting, donation reports, personnel reports, and approval for Rio Vista Middle School overnight field trip to the CASL State Conference.
