Change orders approved for preschool playground, district office and Westmore modernization

Two preschool-playground change orders were required: an additional 210 square feet of pour-in-place surfacing for $4,620 and additional site grading/sidewalks/landscaping for $24,412.48. S13 also described Westmore Elementary work: an electrical/plumbing/roof-related change order for $10,914.93 and a structural wall rebuild for $14,193.23.
Board members expressed disappointment with engineering oversights on one preschool item; S13 said staff have discussed the matter with the engineer and will improve communications. The board approved the presented change orders.
