President Felix Eisenhauer reconvened the Rio School District Board of Trustees at 7:13 p.m. and reported the outcomes of a closed session that included student discipline and legal matters. By a 5–0 roll call the board voted to expel student #2526/3827 and to approve a settlement in Office of Administrative Hearings case No. 2025080147.

Trustees approved issuing notices of release and non‑reelection to a list of temporary certificated employees (employee numbers: 3592, 2301, 2896, 4522, 4243, 4272, 4200, 4677, 4521, 3291, 4604, 3751, 2878, 4247, 4948) under Education Code §44954, effective at the end of the 2025–2026 school year; that motion carried 4–1, with Trustee Emmanuel Mejia voting no. The board also issued release/non‑reelection notices to probationary certificated employees (employee numbers: 4929, 4780, 4581, 4373) pursuant to Education Code §44929.21 by a 5–0 vote.
