Staff explained the district compiles a list of items from school buildings, catalogs them for auction and uses a sliding fee structure for amounts returned to the district.
Staff said if an item does not sell the district reevaluates its value and either retains it for future auctions or disposes of it. The majority of items planned for this year's disposal were identified from Bluffs Middle School, Westmoor Elementary and Bear Cubs Preschool. The board approved the auction motion (Merrigan moved; Snyder seconded).
