Fall 2026 program fees mostly unchanged; competition dance fee rises to $950

Carolyn reviewed the proposed fall program fees and noted most fees would remain the same. She said an equipment fee of $5 will be added for archery and similar programs and that the competition dance program for ages 13–18 will increase from $800 to $950 because expenses exceeded last year’s charges.
"So we are increasing that from 800 to $950 for 2026," Carolyn said. She also noted early-registration logistics and a late-addition fee of $45.60 due to the administrative work required to add participants after a deadline. Staff reported the 8–12 youth dance program will remain $800 and that the youth flag-football fee will be unchanged.
Commissioners approved the fees as presented by motion and voice vote. Staff said they will intensify marketing for low-enrollment programs that were canceled in 2025 and monitor receipts after July to finalize the season’s performance figures.
