Evan Hiester said the Planning Commission approved Troy Leiphart's plan for 601 W Maple St and reported that Jordan Ilyes submitted a draft plan seeking a waiver of land-development review. Engineer Jeff Shue said if a waiver is not required there is no reason to block approval.
Staff noted the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) will provide a free safety walk for the borough on Jan. 13, 2026 at 9 a.m. Code Administrators told staff they must drop three municipalities for staffing reasons, prompting the borough to search for alternative code-enforcement providers. Staff also said the Farmer Market application will be converted to an online form and that Fairmount Park is a possible new location; two "notes" were received concerning 316 Wise Ave but Sowers said inspections show no current violations though adjacent weeds will be reviewed.
