Engineering manager updates Board on multiple CIP projects; corporation yard nearing completion

Engineering Manager Scott Schroder presented the District's Capital Improvement Program status for Q4 2024 across the Collection, Water and Well enterprises.
Schroder reported the Highland Sewer Replacement Project No. 214 was accepted as complete and is related to the State Water Resources Control Board Cease-and-Desist Order R6V-2013-22. Hospital Road Sewer Replacement Project No. 256 will go to bid in spring after Caltrans reviews the in-house design. Sliplining Project No. 266 is out to bid with a Feb. 13, 2025 bid opening; Meadow Bay Project No. 263 is 100% designed and slated to go to bid in spring; Corporation Yard Project No. 253 has its trash enclosure finished, HVAC and electrical nearly complete and is estimated to finish by summer; the SCADA room addition is 65% complete.
Schroder also listed water-enterprise items including PFAS Treatment Design Project No. 251 (60% complete), Willow Creek Building water main (Project No. 255), and Spyglass Slope Protection Project No. 179 going to bid in spring. Board members asked questions and the public provided comment on several projects.
