LACSD reports PFAS treatment design at 60% and plans permitting review

The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District told its Executive Committee on Jan. 21 that the design for PFAS removal equipment has reached 60% completion. General Manager Catherine Cerri said the district will meet with the State Division of Drinking Water to review the design and pursue the permits the project will require.
The minutes indicate the PFAS update will be part of upcoming reporting to the Board. No permit decisions or construction approvals were made at the Jan. 21 Executive Committee meeting; the item is scheduled for further review at the Jan. 28 Board meeting.
