Board appoints Michelle Ambrozic to Division 3 seat

The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District Board of Directors unanimously appointed Michelle Ambrozic to the Division #3 seat at its Jan. 28 meeting.
Vice President Steve Boydston moved the appointment and Director Jacqueline Brown seconded; the motion carried with the vote recorded as "AYES: Boydston, Brown, Reynolds, Wurm" and no recorded noes or abstentions. "Vice President Boydston MOVED, and Director Brown SECONDED, to appoint Michelle Ambrozic to the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District Board of Directors, Division #3, and Director Ambrozic was sworn in." The swearing occurred during the meeting after the vote.
The Board opened the item by inviting the three community members who had expressed interest to make brief statements; Mark Gilliland withdrew his candidacy prior to the vote and two candidates addressed the Board and answered director questions. Public comment on the appointment was also received. The appointment fills the Division #3 vacancy and the new director will assume board duties immediately.
