Board approves Jeff Corcoran Drywall contract for T-bar and drywall at Corporation Yard

Engineering Manager Scott Schroder told the Board that installation of drywall and T-bar for the Corporation Yard (Project No. 253) was not part of the original building contract and required separate procurement. One responsive bid was received from Jeff Corcoran Drywall, Inc. for $97,800.
The Board approved the contract with Jeff Corcoran Drywall, Inc., authorized the General Manager to execute the contract, and approved change orders not to exceed 15% of the original contract amount. The total project estimate including engineering, inspections, and contingency is $136,213, and funds are available in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Capital Improvement Fund 210. Motion carried: Ayes Brown, Morris, Wurm; Absent Boydston, Reynolds.
Staff will manage construction and any approved change orders up to the authorized contingency level and return if additional budget amendments are needed.
