Board adopts revised 2025 salary schedules for managers and union workers

The Board approved two salary-schedule updates affecting District staff.
GM Catherine Cerri explained the MSCEU schedule reflects a 4.8% CPI adjustment and must be board-approved yearly for CalPERS and other administrative reasons. The Board voted to adopt the revised MSCEU schedule. Separately, the Board approved a revised salary schedule for Utility Workers Union of America Local 557 reflecting the contract’s CPI linkage and 4% cap. Both items carried on 4–0 votes with Director Reynolds absent.
Staff noted these are recurring administrative approvals required for payroll and pension reporting; no additional employee actions or contract reopeners were discussed at this meeting.
