The Saint Helena Unified School District Board of Trustees approved its special meeting agenda and later adjourned following closed-session business on Sept. 7, 2024. Trustee Jeannie Kerr moved to approve the agenda, Trustee Shawn Moura seconded, and the motion carried with Ayes recorded for Jeannie Kerr, Lisa Pelosi, Shawn Moura and Jeanmarie Wolf; Trustee Laura Symon was not present for that vote.
President Lisa Pelosi led the meeting, including the Pledge of Allegiance. The board opened the floor for public comment on closed-session items and received none. The meeting closed at 1:55 p.m. on a motion by Jeannie Kerr, seconded by Shawn Moura; that motion carried with Ayes: Jeannie Kerr, Lisa Pelosi, Laura Symon, Shawn Moura and Jeanmarie Wolf. The minutes note motions and vote tallies but record no open-session action on the superintendent matter discussed in closed session.
