Heritage Pines board approves cleanup at parcel ‘33,’ notes wetland constraints

The Board approved a proposal to perform additional cleanup at the site referred to in the minutes as parcel '33,' including perimeter cleanup, the removal of dead trees and mulching. The proposal included an optional scope of weed‑whacker cleanup in the dry retention slope area; on motion by Michael Walsh and seconded by Stephen Putman the proposal (including the optional scope) was approved.
District Engineer Kurt Heath advised that there is a natural wetland in the center of the area and an excavated retention area on the western side, and he noted the south side is difficult to mow with equipment. Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked that maps be provided to Supervisor Putman; Mr. Adams said the invoice will be paid upon completion.
