Town Administrator Carol Lance told trustees the proposed lease renewal for the town’s 68.19-acre tract at the northeast corner of 72nd Street and Slaughterville Road contained no substantive changes and recommended renewal. "There were no changes in the lease, only to renew," Lance said.
Trustee Steve Easom moved to approve the renewal with Trustee Kathy Snellbaker seconding. The motion passed with four votes in favor (Easom, Luby, Snellbaker, Rousey) and one opposed (Grady). The minutes record the leaseholders as Judy Bugher and Edna Manning, doing business as Hayhook Limousin.
The board did not modify lease terms or attach new conditions during the meeting; the minutes show the action was a straight renewal approved by majority vote.
