Officials say 9 MGD SPDES permit response awaits groundwater test results; EFC engaged in reviews

Brock Juusola of Delaware Engineering told the committee the 9 MGD SPDES permit application "is in their second Notice Of Incomplete Application (NOIA) of which they have responded to except for a question on groundwater testing." He said groundwater testing "was done a few weeks ago" and that the team is waiting on test results before responding to the NOIA.
County staff said state review and DEC approval remain required. Erik Denega stated that the monthly meetings with the DEC will include technical review and confirmed the EFC has been part of recent calls. Denega said the EFC "are happy with their progress," and staff also said EFC representatives would participate in future monthly meetings.
