Committee creates public safety outreach position and backs state bills expanding disability and retirement coverage for staff

The committee voted to create one full‑time Public Safety Community Outreach Coordinator (CSEA Grade 10) and approved advanced step hiring up to Step 04. Peter Cirigliano said the role would absorb additional duties — including coordinating the STOP‑DWI transition, organizing community and school outreach, assisting the Peer Support Team Coordinator and coordinating with mental‑health partners.
