The interim City Manager had provided cost‑analysis information that the mayor said could be discussed further ahead of the October meeting. No substantive discussion was permitted on the motion to table itself, per council procedure.
The council’s formal action was to table the proposal; no lease agreement was approved, and staff were not directed to execute a contract at this meeting. The item is scheduled to be returned to the council agenda on Oct. 12 for further consideration.
