Board sets committees, recaps election, and reviews IT proposal

Clerk Atterbury reported the April 7, 2026 spring election recorded 145 total voters (four same-day registrations and nine absentee ballots) and described the election as running smoothly with Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Sheckler managing polling operations largely independently. The Board of Review is scheduled for May 28, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM; at least one board member will need to attend training.
Atterbury also presented a proposal from Applied Micro to install a router with VPN access at Village Hall (router cost $199 plus setup) to allow secure remote access instead of logging into the office computer directly. McLimans suggested Atterbury send a formal note of thanks to Kurt Adrian and Jason Hampton for assistance moving the ADA ramp after election nights.
