Riverside Lawn Care, the incumbent, proposed biweekly mowing/trimming options ($160–$175 per mowing with optional headstone blowing and sweeping services) and supplied staff names and references and a certificate of liability insurance. Babb Lawn Care of Richland Center bid $300 per mowing with liability insurance.
Given the substantial price difference and incumbent status, the Board moved and approved awarding the contract to Riverside Lawn Care for the 2026 season. Trustees noted the current provider had previously charged $155 per mowing and emphasized cost-effectiveness and local references in the selection.
