During public comment, teacher Richard Lill said he had been living with temperatures as low as the low 50s in his assigned space over the past three weeks and urged the district to encourage faculty to report issues through work orders. "The range that I've had has gone from 53 to 60," Lill said, and he asked whether the referendum work included full window replacement (district staff clarified it did not cover all windows).
Facilities staff reiterated they are not closing out some Group 2 sites until they are satisfied with the work and encouraged continued reporting through official work orders so crews can respond. Board members thanked Lill and told him the board would continue to make the heating issue a priority while repairs continue.
