Representatives Nick Cooper and Kevin Kruger told the board they raised funds through the Larry Osterhaus Run and concession operations and sought permission to install two electronic scoreboards at the main park and second field at an estimated cost of $10,000 per scoreboard.
The board approved a motion to offer the concession stand to Little League for an annual fee of $2,500 and granted permission to install the scoreboards. Trustees noted the village had invested about $12,000 in recent building, roof, and cooler upgrades; historically the rent ranged from $2,500 down to $1,250 and was waived last year under a different arrangement. Little League representatives said the organization returns all proceeds to program and park improvements.
