Toms River students honored at board meeting for academic and athletic achievements

Sofia Sitta (South) recognized marching band and sports teams and introduced award recipients.
Dave Correll, publicity coordinator at Toms River High School South, introduced National Merit commendations and congratulated student athletes and coaches; building principals presented Veterans Day essay winners and athletic coach remarks. The board paused briefly to allow students to exit after awards and thanked staff and volunteers for their support.
