District reports AP participation increases and a 3-year SAT mean slightly above state average

Turning to the SAT, Green said the report summarizes the class of 2024 on a three-year average; 447 students in the class of 2024 were counted as SAT test takers for the district report. “As a district, we scored 1,065, which was slightly above the state and slightly above the national average,” he told the board. Board members asked for school-level score breakdowns; Green agreed to provide detailed per-class scores to the board on request.
Board members also asked whether academy students’ scores appear under their home-school or their academy-host school; Green confirmed that students’ results are reported at the school where the academy is hosted.
