County attorney commends local officers for crash analysis and life-saving response

Blevins also praised Deputy Dane King for actions on May 24 that stopped severe bleeding with a tourniquet and kept a man conscious until EMS arrived. The attorney read additional citations recognizing Sergeant April Morgan and Deputy Adam Boardwine for recovering more than 40 grams of methamphetamine during processing at the county facility; the transcript notes the related defendant, Andrea Barr, was later convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison. The board and attendees applauded the officers; no formal board action was required beyond the recognitions.
