Commission approves $2.8 million for Game, Fish & Parks collector-road improvements

Secretary Joel Jundt introduced Secretary Kevin Robling of the Department of Game, Fish & Parks (GFP). Jundt noted the Commission had provided state highway funds to GFP "to help maintain collector roads," and Robling and Adam Kulesa presented a list of FY2026 projects and priorities for FY2027. The Commission approved a motion to amend the existing agreement and extend contract terms for one year with $2.8 million available for state fiscal year 2027.
Commissioner Rick Vallery moved to approve the amendment and Commissioner Don Roby seconded. All present voted aye, and the motion carried. The amendment continues the interagency funding arrangement under the existing MOU; GFP will provide project-level details and locations as part of its implementation reporting.
