Following the public comment period during the Railyards PFA meeting, a committee member directed city staff to meet with all residents impacted by the Railyards project to hear their concerns and improve engagement processes. "Please give direction to city staff to please meet with all the residents there that are impacted," the committee member said.
Chair Pluckibaugh invited additional speakers and staff clarified procedural items about items that were withdrawn and would be renoticed, and staff later noted they would return with the annual report for formal approval. Residents asked for meetings to be scheduled in community locations such as the Wong Center and the AJ so they can participate.
The direction to staff does not itself change the approved budget or map boundaries; it establishes a follow-up action for staff to engage with residents and report back.
