The board accepted a DuPont Storage Systems proposal to install two large roller shelving units in the town office basement at a cost of $13,750 and authorized the town clerk and town treasurer to sign procurement and installation documents. "I move to accept the proposal to file storage and shelving from DuPont Storage Systems in the amount of $13,750 and authorize both the town clerk and town treasurer to sign any documents necessary for the procurement and installation of the units," a board member said.
Separately, because the project team discovered older plumbing and pressure tanks that should be replaced, the board authorized a change order of $5,175 for new pressure tanks, fixtures and related plumbing work and authorized the assistant town administrator to execute implementation documents.
Finally, to facilitate receiving bond proceeds, the board appointed the town treasurer as an authorized signer for current and future Vermont bond bank loans held by U.S. Bank related to the renovation and authorized the select board chair to sign any required appointment or authorization documents on the town's behalf.
