Town Manager Eric Duffy delivered a quarterly report to the joint select board and village trustees, detailing recent capital investments and grants and outlining FY26 priorities.
Duffy said voters approved purchase of the Woodside Aqueduct and that the town has put roughly $8,300,000 toward infrastructure and property investments in FY25. He told the boards the town has received "over $2,500,000 in grants" for water, wastewater and community projects and has developed a new five-year capital plan to guide future spending. "We did again with 80% of the vote for, about $8,300,000 for infrastructure and property," Duffy said. He also reported upgrades to software used to manage short-term rentals and other functions, improved town-hall technology, and ongoing work to reconcile a century of water-billing issues.
Looking ahead, Duffy said the town has issued an RFP to study strategies for increasing housing stock, and the select board created a housing working group in early May. He also noted that a merger analysis remains outstanding and that some items will return to the boards during the next quarterly check-in and as part of the budget process.
