River Ridge approves goals and performance measures required by HB7013

District management and counsel briefed the board on newly adopted legislation (HB7013) requiring special districts to set annual goals, objectives, and performance measures and to report them publicly. Chuck Adams, Cleo Adams and Tony Pires presented proposed general performance measures organized under Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
The board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form on a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly. The minutes record that "The initial Report is due on December 1, 2025 and must be posted on the CDD website." Staff added the task to the Key Activity Dates list for follow up.
