The Cole County Commission approved a clinical affiliation agreement with Boone Health on July 28 to permit county students to undertake observation in Boone Health facilities at no charge.
Staff (speaker 6) said the agreement is intended to allow students observational access and noted county counsel reviewed the document. "This is a clinical agreement with Boone Health, to allow our students to do observation in their facilities. No charge," the staff representative said. A commissioner moved to approve and sign the agreement and the motion passed by voice vote.
County staff indicated the agreement required a single signature and that counsel had reviewed it; no further changes or a fee were discussed during the meeting.
