The Regional School District No. 17 Board of Education voted unanimously Aug. 19 to approve Administrative Regulation 5131.911 R, associated with the district's Connecticut School Climate Policy.
Board Member Heather Pach updated the Board on information provided to the Policy Subcommittee and recommended the regulation be moved forward for the beginning of the school year. Lisa Connelly moved approval and Jennifer Voegtli seconded; the motion passed on a 9-0-0 roll-call vote.
The Board recorded the approval and will proceed to implement the regulation as part of the student conduct and climate guidance for 2025-26.
