Oak Park MAC defers several items; updates on Ron Stark memorial bench and 60th anniversary

Because the meeting reached the maximum allotted time, the Oak Park MAC agreed to defer agenda items 16–20 to its April 30 meeting.
JL Diaz provided an update on a proposed Ron Stark memorial bench: he identified a location and fundraising approach and said he will provide a more detailed update next month. Members also reviewed the draft 2026 work plan and requested the removal of items outside MAC jurisdiction (for example, the Lindero monument and emergency operations items noted as OES responsibilities) and asked staff to resend updated documents.
The Council confirmed future agenda items for April 30 (including an Oak Park Fire Safe Council presentation, review of a 2004 arborist study and 2005 recommendations, and LAFCo process information) and for May 28 (Athens Annual Oak Park Clean Up presentation). The meeting adjourned at 10:00 PM.
