City receives clean audit; auditor to transition to new firm

The finance director and council thanked Marina & Company for their work; staff noted the firm is completing its contract and that Aldrich CPAs will serve as the next auditor as required by procurement time frames.
Council and audit-committee members described the result as reassuring for financial accountability; no formal council action was required beyond accepting the presentation and preparing for the contract transition.
