County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented multiple personnel items. The board approved hiring Steve McGowan and Alisha Giesselmann as part-time Jail/Dispatchers on Range 12, Step Minimum ($22.64) pending completion of hiring requirements. The board accepted resignations from part-time Jail/Dispatcher Dolf Svoboda, effective Oct. 24, 2024, and Deputy Sheriff Destiny Mathews, effective Oct. 13, 2024, including appropriate payout of benefits. The board instructed staff to advertise for a full-time Deputy Sheriff.
Thongvivong also noted that the third approved Heavy Equipment Operator hire, Tyler Mau, started work on Oct. 7, 2024. Motions to hire and accept resignations passed unanimously.
