During the Sept. 24 special meeting the board voted at 9:33 a.m. to close the meeting to discuss strategy for upcoming labor negotiations. Commissioner Donna Gravley made the motion, Commissioner Kevin Stevens seconded, and the vote was recorded as unanimous; the minutes list Gravley, Anderson, Holmen, Stevens, Appel, County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong and Kathy Marsh as present for the closed session.
The board then voted to reopen the meeting at 10:35 a.m. (motion by Kevin Stevens, second by Tom Appel). The minutes do not record the content of the closed-session discussion, consistent with the confidentiality of strategy discussions about labor negotiations; attendees for the closed session were recorded for the record.
