Students and community groups highlight service-club work at board meeting

The students reported club totals: "Our total service hours were 325 hours, and we had 24 students involved in the service club this year," Charlotte said. Advisers and community sponsors — including the Kiwanis Club of Auburn and the Auburn Hills Lions — described how small grants and volunteer coordination led to larger community donations and successful projects.
Board members thanked the students and advisers for their service and recognized the clubs' role in building student leadership and community ties. Trustees and staff noted the clubs' assistance at district events such as the Renaissance Fair and Harvest Festival and encouraged continued partnership.
