Planning commission forwards proposed 2025 meeting schedule to city council

Draper City planning staff presented a proposed 2025 meeting schedule on Nov. 14 and explained several dates (highlighted in red in the packet) would not follow the commission's usual 2nd-and-4th-Thursday rhythm, including adjustments for July, November and December. Staff said the red dates were intended to avoid back-to-back meetings and better distribute meeting spacing.
"The ones in the ones in red are ones that would would be other than the 2nd or 4th," staff said while walking commissioners through the schedule. Commissioner Mary moved to forward a positive recommendation for the 2025 meeting schedule to the city council; Laura seconded the motion. The commission voted in favor of forwarding the schedule.
Commissioners discussed that final approval rests with the city council and noted they could provide additional feedback to council if needed. Staff will include the commission's recommendation in the council packet.
