The Auburn Union Elementary School District board voted to adopt updated salary schedules reflecting tentative agreements reached with bargaining units.
Chief Business Officer McReynolds said the changes align pay tables with tentative agreements approved in the consent agenda and provided an estimated financial impact: "The financial impact is estimated at $260,082 for all of the agreements," with additional costs projected in 2025–26. He said the adjustments will use a combination of unrestricted and restricted funds and recommended approval.
A trustee asked whether these included contracted behavioral‑services positions and McReynolds confirmed some contracted services are separate (for nonpublic schools) and would not be covered by Medi‑Cal. After brief discussion the board moved and approved the salary schedules by unanimous vote. The board thanked labor partners for negotiations that produced the agreements.
