On April 28 the Dupo CUSD 196 Board voted 5–0 (two absent) to enter executive session at 6:43 p.m. to consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)); placement of individual students in special education programs and other matters relating to individual students (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(10)); and pending or probable litigation against, affecting or on behalf of the public body (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11)).
Member Carroll moved and Member Mushaney seconded the motion to enter executive session. The board later returned to open session at 7:37 p.m. on a motion by Member Mushaney, seconded by Member Stumpf; the minutes do not disclose actions taken during the executive session, consistent with statutory confidentiality for those matters.
