Ogdensburg’s governing body on June 9 adopted Resolution 53-2025 to authorize an Amended Limited Non-Exclusive Access, Drainage and Utility Easement affecting Borough-owned Block 2, Lots 1 and 12.01 and Grantee James Lame’s Block 2, Lots 7 and 8.
The council said the amendment responds to uneven topography and site conditions that affected access and utility placement for an approved single-family dwelling and related structures on the grantee’s property. The minutes record that the mayor and two council members inspected the property with the grantee and the borough engineer on April 22, 2025. The Amended Easement will supersede the prior easement upon recording in the Sussex County Clerk’s Office.
Councilman DeMeo moved to adopt the resolution; the motion was seconded by Councilman Gandarinho and passed unanimously. The resolution authorizes the mayor and borough clerk to execute the Amended Easement subject to any engineer or attorney revisions prior to recording.
