Staff told the commission the dwelling proposes six bedrooms available for short-term rental and that the standard occupancy limit would be 14. Staff recommended approval with two additional conditions to clarify which parts of the residence would be rented and to require a security plan on file. Applicant Bobby Hyer asked the commission to allow 16 occupants, saying the house is designed for families with multiple bunk beds. "I would like to request if it's possible to do 16," Hyer said, adding that the couple had locked off private areas of the home. A commissioner moved to adopt Resolution PC 25-55 and update the applicable condition to a 16-person maximum; the motion was seconded and called to a vote.
