McCullom Lake trustees discuss $18,000 patching job and possible CDBG application to pave Spring Road

Vick said Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds could not be reallocated from Orchard to Spring but that the 2025 CDBG application window has opened; the village could apply to pave Spring from Orchard to Flanders and, if awarded a portion of the grant, complete that work. No final funding decision was recorded at the meeting; trustees directed staff to pursue the grant opportunity and to schedule the patching work with the contractor.
The board did not set a final contract at the meeting; Trustee Vick said he had additional marks on West End in case extra funds were available.
