Christopher Adaroli of Geiger Consulting presented revisions to the mitigation and planting plan for the riverfront site at 292 Westbound, saying the team reduced the area credited to an existing volleyball court and added extra mitigation plantings to offset remaining disturbance.
“ So our delta so to speak becomes a little shy of 4,800 square feet,” Adaroli said, summarizing the revised calculations. Commissioners pressed for an engineered existing‑conditions/topographic plan, clarified how access would be achieved without causing new disturbance, and asked for a site visit so the commission could assess likely tree removals and machine access. John Thomas emphasized the need to remain under the riverfront 10% disturbance threshold and noted that the commission will require a notice of intent for work that clearly needs mechanized access.
