Superintendent: all three labor agreements settled; year-end report to be published

The superintendent told the board that labor negotiations concluded for the district’s three bargaining units: a three-year deal with the Teamsters (bus drivers), a three-year teachers' contract, and a one-year agreement with PSE. "We've successfully settled our last labor agreement last week. So all three of our labor agreements are closed now," the superintendent said, noting ratification timing varies by unit.
The superintendent also said the district will post a year-end report to preview upcoming priorities, including outreach around a potential bond and principal presentations at the August 24 meeting. Trustees were told principals will present school-improvement information starting at 5 p.m. ahead of the regular meeting and budget public input at 6 p.m.
