Board approves Seaside & Master Drainage scope and $15,000 irrigation change order

Charlie Krebs, the district engineer, presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and estimated work to begin within two to three weeks. Krebs flagged ancillary irrigation costs and presented a Change Order from Irrigation Concepts for damaged wiring and raising multiple irrigation heads.
On a motion by Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Bob Schultz, the Board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order, not to exceed $15,000, to cover $4,002.50 in wiring repairs and approximately $1,300 each to raise about seven to eight irrigation heads. Staff will proceed with the drainage project and coordinate irrigation repairs with the contractor.
