Board opts for $3,098 'zombie box' instead of relocating Lake E1‑C aerator

Operations Manager Shane Willis outlined the revised One‑time Work Order Agreement from Premier Lakes and the additional electrical scope.
On a motion by Bob Schultz and seconded by Robert Twombly, the Board approved installing a ‘‘zombie box’’ at the existing aeration location for $3,098, with Mr. Schultz, Mr. Twombly and Mr. Merrill voting in favor and Mr. Mountford and Mr. Blumenthal dissenting. The Board recorded its intent to revisit the full relocation proposal during Fiscal Year 2026 budget planning.
